Crypto Betting Sites UK: Bitcoin and Altcoin Apps We Tested

• All 12 apps take crypto deposits. Seven of the nine with captured coin data also pay winnings out in crypto; two (Basswin, LuckyWave) are deposit-only.
• Runa lists the most coins, nine including TON and BNB. Three apps share a nine-coin set (WinWinter, Daytonaspin, Spinpolo).
• No app is an instant-payout site. Withdrawals are quoted at 1 to 3 business days, crypto included. None advertises Lightning Network.

We funded a real account on each app and took every figure from the live cashier, not from a marketing page, the same hands-on approach behind every deposit and withdrawal method we cover. For crypto specifically, that meant recording the following on each app:

Three more apps we tested, Gambiva, Wildzy and Prestige Spin, confirm crypto in the cashier but we did not capture the specific coins or minimums. They are left out of the table rather than shown with blank cells. For coin-level certainty, the nine above are the ones we can vouch for.

The coins in the tables above behave differently once they leave your wallet. The speeds below are general properties of each blockchain, not a payout time on these apps, which quote 1 to 3 business days whatever coin you use. Use this to pick a coin, not to expect a faster cash-out.

If price swings worry you, a stablecoin (USDT or USDC) holds its value between deposit and withdrawal, which is the practical fix for the volatility that comes with BTC or ETH. For USDT, the single most common mistake is a network mismatch, so confirm the app takes the network your wallet is sending on.

Two apps accept crypto for deposits but will not send winnings back in crypto.

• Basswin takes BTC, ETH, LTC and USDT on deposit only. Withdrawals go by card or bank.

If your reason for using crypto is a private, wallet-to-wallet payout, these two will not give you that. You can fund with crypto, but the money returns through a bank rail, which reintroduces the identity checks and processing time crypto users usually want to avoid. The seven apps marked “withdrawal: Yes” in the table above pay out in crypto.

Crypto minimums are set per coin and per app, so they do not map onto the standard deposit floors.

Legionbet and LuckyWave quote minimums in coin units rather than a pound figure. Beonbet accepts crypto both ways, but we did not capture its coin minimums, so it is not listed here. Three apps run euro cashiers, Basswin, Spinpolo and SpellWin, so a sterling-priced crypto deposit into a euro account carries a conversion.

The flow is the same across the apps that accept crypto.

1. Fund a wallet. Buy your coin on a UK exchange and move it to your own wallet first. Do not bet straight from an exchange balance.
2. Register and open the cashier. Sign-up takes an email and password. There is no passport upload at the deposit stage on the apps we tested.
3. Deposit. In the cashier, pick your coin and network, copy the deposit address, and send from your wallet. Match the network, for example USDT on TRC-20 versus ERC-20, or the funds can be lost.
4. Withdraw. On the seven apps that pay out in crypto, request the withdrawal to your wallet. On Basswin and LuckyWave, withdrawals go by card or bank instead.

USDT is the one to slow down on. It exists on different networks, and the app has to support the one your wallet is sending. Runa lists both TRC-20 and ERC-20 for USDT; several others default to TRC-20.

If you do not already hold crypto, buying it is a four-step job.

1. Open an account at a UK exchange and verify it with ID. The exchange check is separate from any betting-site check.

Keeping betting funds on an exchange rather than your own wallet exposes them to account freezes and exchange outages, so the wallet step is worth the extra minute.

A wallet sits between the exchange and the betting app and keeps your gambling funds separate from your main holdings. Two types cover most needs.

• Hot wallets (a phone or browser app such as Trust Wallet or MetaMask) are fine for the amounts you intend to stake and let you move funds quickly. MetaMask suits ETH and ERC-20 coins like USDT; Trust Wallet covers a wider spread including BTC and TRON.
• Hardware wallets (a physical device such as a Ledger or Trezor) suit larger balances, because the keys never touch the internet.

Whichever you use, the seed phrase is the master key. Store it offline, never type it into a betting site, and treat any request for it as fraud. A crypto payment sent to a wrong address cannot be reversed, so double-check the address every time.

Crypto has a reputation for near-instant payouts. On the apps we tested, that reputation does not fully hold.

These apps quote withdrawal processing of 1 to 3 business days, and that window applies to crypto as well as cards. Crypto removes the bank leg, so there is no Faster Payments delay at your end, but the operator’s own processing window still runs before the coin leaves their wallet. None of the apps we tested advertise Lightning Network payouts or sub-minute settlement.

The value of crypto on these apps is payment choice and privacy when you deposit. If a guaranteed same-hour payout is your main goal, none of these 12 apps promise it.

None of these apps runs a crypto-specific bonus, and a crypto deposit qualifies wherever a normal deposit does. What actually decides it is whether the welcome offer applies to sports at all, because several advertise a big headline that is casino-only.
Apps with a genuine sports welcome:

If you are weighing one of these against a UK-licensed book, the differences that matter are the payment layer and the protection layer.

The short version: you gain crypto as a payment route and lighter sign-up, and you give up UK regulatory cover. There is no GAMSTOP and no Alternative Dispute Resolution route if a payout is disputed.

These apps run on offshore licences: Anjouan for several, Curaçao for SpellWin, and Costa Rica for Runa. None is a UKGC licence, so the UK consumer protections do not apply.

A few practical safety points came out of testing. Some apps ask for camera access at withdrawal to photograph ID, which is normal for offshore operators; Basswin and Prestige Spin are examples.
